To narrow the search, would you mind posting a pic of the back of the Tray? Thank you.
German, reticulated (pierced) oval tray.
I see them listed all the time and someone has your exact one on ETSY for $30: www.etsy.com/
I have not seen one sell in ages. They range in asking prices from $10 and up ASKING. You could always start high and take best offer.
Thanks for sharing!
I would say valuable only if it has personal memories/meaning to someone.
You can find this one and so many similar bowls listed for sale all over the internet and asking prices range from $4 up and very few are selling. These look so fragile and 'antique' that almost everyone - when first seeing one - thinks 'Oh! This must be rare and valuable!'
Here is a link to a listing like yours for sale on eBay and you can place a watch on this one to see if it sells. Asking $19.95 + shipping. Many items listed for sale online may remain listed for sale for months/years and many never sell.

Sales like this is what makes me feel sad because I feel like these were part of a family at one time and may have been cherished pieces. Three pieces selling for $2.99 + $12.55 shipping.

Here is another example: (2019) - 4 similar pieces sold for $48.

If you still wish to list yours for sale, I would say to list it on local markets like Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, LetGo, OfferUp, etc and start higher and add best offer considered and even free pick up and see how it goes. No offer? Reduce the price and wait again.
