This is a Dennis Thomson tribal dancer copper art piece. I have been able to find other work or art that he has done, but as for this tribal dancer I'm definitely having a difficult time finding any other ones so I cannot place a value on it. It is an item 18 that's what it says on the back label. I believe it might be from 1970s. I'm assuming it is from Africa. I just don't know which part. Can anyone help me? Thank you.

It does not appear that your piece is listed for sale at the present time or has sold in even past years.
There are several of Dennis Thomson pieces listed for sale but I'm seeing where a few sold on eBay's sold site.
It looks like the smaller pieces are low value - $20-$35 - and not very many are actually being purchased.
The larger pieces sold for a little more but no way to tell how long the seller had items listed before they sold.
Since some of his art work does sell for more money I would suggest you try asking about the value on Reddit.
If you are not a member, you'll have to join but someone will probably know a little about this work.
You will have to provide the size of your piece.
if you have problems posting pictures just ask for help.

This page on eBay has some of his work. Nothing is asking more than $199. www.ebay.com/
Compare the size of "TRIBAL DANCER" with other pieces by Dennis Thomson to determine the price.
Here are similar pieces by artist Dennis Thomson, which are lovely. I did not find yours going for under $50 - www.etsy.com/
I can verify that this Dennis Thomson piece is from the 1970s. In June 1971 my father and I toured Dennis's factory in Salisbury and met him through a mutual friend. My father bought a large quantity of his pieces and had them shipped home. Their house had many of them displayed for the next 40 years.
