If this is your set, it sold on eBay recently for a starting price of 20.99, they took best offer, and it cost over 100 in shipping...so figure the value is about 100 when all is said and done (with fees etc.) If this is your set, this is the current market value.

This is a nice set that would go well for a collector. This set is currently for sale on ebay asking $250 to about $500. There are a lot of encyclopaedia's for sale and do not bring in more than $100 when books are under 100 years old. This set seems to have more value. www.ebay.com/
If you happen to have the leather ones that you are selling they are asking the price that was quoted to you here. Other than this the other books are going for around $50 to $80 for the set. Yours are not the leather ones so your price will be much lower and it is not so easy to sell books like this these days.
Encyclopedias unfortunately dont sell for much these days I even have a set my neighbor deals in books has a big used book store and he wont even take them because they just dont sell !
