We have a set of Encyclopedia Britannica 1768, copyright 1964. We have the the index and atlas and then volumes 1-23. They are in fairly good condition. Are they of any value please?

You can check ebay, but chances are, you won't get any takers. You might try checking with a teacher to see if he/she wants them for the classroom. I see a lot of crafts using old books on youtube and pinterest.
Everything is on-line now, and people aren't using encyclopedias much anymore.
Encyclopaedias seem to be in demand only if they are complete and over 100 years old. People get their information now instantaneously from the Internet.
This looks like a nice set and the white isn't as common as other bindings so you may be able to sell them but I would not expect them to be a quick seller.
eBay is a good place to check for value - only sold listings will tell you what someone is willing to pay - current value.
Here is a link to recent sales of the edition:
www.ebay.com/
If you decide to sell; Do a lot of research and list them on several sites - maybe eBay and Craigslist, OfferUp, LetGo.
Be careful with shipping - use Media Mail only - and offer as "pick up only" so no shipping involved.
Take lots of pictures - full set, title pages, any damage, etc
I meant to add:
You should be sure to mention all of the set, including the Index and the Atlas and any other additional books you have as this will also add more appeal to your set.
You may want to watch this set, which appears to be identical to yours and see if it sells:
If it sells at 600 or best offer, that will be today's market value.
If it sells at best offer there is a website that tells you what was accepted. I can't put my finger on it this second, but if it sells this way, message me back and I can dig for it.
Neat find!
