It says copyright 1929, 1948. Would it be worth anything?

Encyclopedias only have value if they are 100 years old or more. You are almost there if the true date of publication was 1929.
Encyclopedia Britannica sets of all years sell online more often than a lot of other items that are considered 'collectible'. Very old books (over 100 years old) in any condition are a rarity and if sold may not sell for as much money as a nice set of modern Encyclopedia Britannica. Condition is more important with older books than it is with newer sets.
There are many factors that have to be considered when trying to pin down the value of a certain year/edition.
There are certain editions that sell for more money and more often.
Your 1948 is the 14th edition and there is nothing of real unusual interest over any of the other years in the 14th edition - 14th edition - 1929-1973.
This just means it does not really offer (value wise) anything that any of the other years in this edition offers. So - there are a lot of years in the 14th edition that makes for stiff competition when trying to sell.
That brings us to the matter of condition and type of cover.
You do not show a picture or state the condition or what type of cover your set has so you will have to judge that for yourself.
Here is a 1948 set listed for sale on eBay for $400 but it appears this set in in excellent condition and has 2 year books and an Atlas.
You can place a watch on this set to see if it sells.
You can check out sold listings on eBay to see what types of sets are selling so you can try to set a price for your set.

You can check out eBay's for sale listings to see what sellers are asking for their sets but just remember; asking prices are just a price a seller would like to receive for their items but only a sold, identical item shows value as it shows what someone was willing to pay for that item.

A very big problem with trying to sell books (or anything really) is how long it may take to sell. Sellers post books and just leave them listed for months/years so when a set sells we have no way to know how long it had been posted for sale.
If you wish to list your books you can try any of the sites and just start with a higher price with best offer considered and if no offers after a few weeks/months then you can lower the price and wait again.
