I have recently acquired the Encyclopedia Britannica, supplement to the 3rd Edition, in two volumes from 1803. They are in rough condition, but still bound, complete, and readable. Are they of any value as is or should I have them restored?

Your books may have some value , however you must do your own research on their value, condidtion, etc., if you intend to sell them. A very easy online search produces many possibilities-you can try auction houses in your area, old book collectors, EBay, Craigslist, etc.
