I have a full set of Moore's Dublin Edition of Encyclopaedia Britannica which was an Irish printing of Encyclopaedia Britannica Third Edition, printed by James Moore of College Green, Dublin. The title pages are dated the year they were printed, in volume order from 1788 to 1797. Condition is poor but complete. Are these of any value? Cheers!

Generally - encyclopedias are not worth much but yours sounds different than the run of the mill sets so they may hold some value.
You will probably have to do your own research on Google, eBay etc. Some can be sold for crafts and homeschooling but not much value. Sometimes they are even difficult to even "give" away as they take up room and are difficult to move.
I would say this set is old enough to be an antique or collectible book. You need to go on a site that specializes in such things. Google for information. Sets from the 50's, 60's , 70's etc have no value; yours is much older and should be of interest; if nothing else, perhaps a historical museum would appreciate the donation.
