I've been able to discover my old mower was made by the Eureka Planter Company, likely in the late 40s (apparently the metal handle came in late in the 40s). It still works well and seems to be in quite good condition for its age. Any thoughts on value?
Thank you!

Normally older push mowers like this sell online from $60-80 depending on the location you are selling it. If the mover is in good shape you can actually get a little higher value for it. Many people will restore the mowers like this and will really fix them up to look nice. You might consider trying to do a little work on this if you want to sell it.
There is no way to give you a 'current' value on your mower as no 2 older mowers will be in the same condition and probably more important - no 2 will probably ever be in the same location and since mowers are costly to ship your area will be your 'buying/selling' area.
I have found a couple of sites with Eureka mowers but these are earlier models than yours - still you can see what others are saying. Check area sold - pick up only.
this one sold in 2019 for $125.

This one is listed for sale - $60 in Canada.

I did not see any listed for sale or sold in the US in recent months but research is a continuing thing.
You might be able to ask questions on this site:
If you plan to list it for sale, I would suggest you list it on local venues like Craigslist, USA4Sale, Facebook Marketplace, letgo, offerup, etc.
One sold on eBay for $75. You could do bid sale , to get a better price because it is a rare piece. There are collectors out there for this mower with history.
