Value of Hillview Lane Porcelain Dolls?

Value of Hillview Lane Porcelain Dolls - doll wearing a sailor suit in the boxI brought a Sandy and Candy in sailor outfits for $200! They are 35 & 36 out off 360. They are in their original boxes and have never been taken out of the boxes. Are they worth the money I paid for them? I wasn't too sure.

They are adorable and if you love them and will enjoy them then the price you paid is irrelevant. Dolls were meant to be loved and the value is in the love.

If you bought them to resell, I would hold on to them for a while as the market for dolls is very soft and they may sit for a long time before someone who loves them like you do wants them.

I have not found any recently sold version of either cutie in any of my doll sites to give you comps. I can tell you that both have sat unsold at the $120-$150 each range.

Enjoy your sailor kids!! They are cute!

Hello! I hope your grands love them!

Dolls were made to be loved and enjoyed and spark imagination and creativity.

What a wonderful gift you are giving them!

Reselling dolls is never that profitable and you will never get the money back that you paid for them. They are beautiful dolls and in mint condition. If you have children or even grandchildren I would suggest that you save them and give them to the little ones when they get older and can take care of them.

Most of the special dolls I was given when I was young my mother sold them off for the money. I did not mind because I wanted a bike or some skates and she bought these for me instead. She knew I would not take care of them and I would just throw them under my bed and leave them there.
