Could you tell me how much an eight piece setting for a Cavalier eggshell is worth?

Looks like this but less pieces: www.etsy.com/
This one is asking $219.95. www.etsy.com/
This is a pretty set but china is not a sought after item right now as the younger crowd are just not interested in having china on their table. Most are busy with work, family, children and social activities and could care less what type of dinnerware is on their table.
Most of the time you will find sellers trying to sell in pieces instead of a set and some of that is because of the high shipping cost as well as the greatest possibility of breakage the larger the number of pieces.
Asking prices are no indication of current value as only a sold price can give evidence of what someone is willing to pay for an item.
Just as the asking price shown on this set ($125.00) is just that - an asking price. I would hope it could be sold for that amount but in my area, I see beautiful sets of china with asking prices of $40-$75 and most still do not sell.
I did find where 2 sets of Barclay recently sold on eBay so you might take a look at these listings.
The sets are for a service of 4 and sold for $40 each. One set was shipped ($42) and the other set was 'pick up only'.

You can contact Replacements about your set.
They will tell you what they are willing to pay - if they are interested in buying but just remember; their price is with you paying the shipping and insurance.

While mid century modern is hot (but waning) at the moment, this lovely pattern is selling, but not for nearly what it used to.
There was a set that had 1 serving platter, 6 dinner plates, 6 bowls , 6 bread plates 5 cups and 6 saucers. that sold on eBay for 40.00
You have a few more and a few few different pieces, so if you divide the pieces into the total, you can figure maybe another 30 to the total.
They seem to be selling best as lots, which I find unusual as most people who want dishes want one or two to replace what they have broken.
I can tell you shipping these will be a nightmare, especially since the USPS is starting a new DIM (dimensional) shipping thing where the weight includes the box dimensions.
Maybe you can sell them on a local sight, like Facebook or NextDoor.com
Post back how it goes and what you fetch!
