I have several Jesse Barnes prints s/n lithographs with coas. Can I get help with value on these or is it specific to just Thomas Kinkades artwork. The one shown is Lighting the Way. Its an lithograph AP.
Jesse Barnes's paintings are very similar to Thomas Kinkade's but his paintings may be holding their value better than Kinkade's.
He was known as 'The Light Painter'.
He was 81 years old when he died in 2017 and his paintings can be found in homes and museums all over the world.

It is very difficult to place a value on a painting as only an identical sold item can be considered as 'value' and an exact sold copy will be difficult to find.
For sale listings, whether listed by individuals or stores, is only a price the seller would like to obtain for their items. The 'value' of a for-sale item is $0 until it is sold - except to the owner.
All paintings have to be researched by several things:
Mainly, the description has to be exactly the same as the COA on your painting or it will be like trying to compare apples and oranges.
Also, bare in mind that selling paintings online can be a very slow process - many paintings remain listed for sale for months/years and some may never sell.
Buyers will usually buy from a dealer much quicker than from an individual seller as they seem to trust dealers to know what they're selling and also will know how to ship properly.
Since you have several paintings I have some links that you can check out. Each link is a little different - some will have paintings for sale and some will have sold prices.

Since you have several paintings you may want to seek advice from some of the auction houses as this may be a better way to sell your paintings and go home with the cash.
