If I want to find the value of some thing I usually do a search on eBay. Put in all the info. you have, the fact that it is "Lane" and you have a serial number and be sure to mention the condition. On eBay, even if you do not get an exact match, it usually gives you a general idea. Also go on Craigslist and see if there is any Cedar Chests for sale.
