Hi, I have two Lane Chests that my boss bought and wants me to find the value of the pieces to sell. I can't find one like these. Does anyone have and idea as to a price range?
First chest was made 11-15-1987, serial number is 2785111 style 5530 70.
and the second one was 06-31-55, serial number is 553160 style 03190.

This cedar chest is a bit larger than other cedar chests that the average selling price for them is 125-175. You can start selling this one at around $250 and go from there. I would try and sell it locally if I were you because if you try and sell it online there is a lot of completion and it does take longer to sell.
The only way to quote you any current value prices would be to find an exact same item that recently sold and of course you will never find an exact match due to differences in condition and most important - location.
Any cedar chest is expensive to ship (freight) so almost all sellers list their heavy items as 'local pick up only'.
Your area may be into owning cedar chests or it could be that no one in your area will even look at one much less buy one (at a decent price).
You will most likely never find an exact match to these chests so you'll just have to go with 'similar' styles/age when you decide to sell.
You should check out some current listings so you'll get some ideas on what type of pictures you'll need as well as a good description.
(Several very good pictures as well as measurements are necessary for a good posting.)
Very few chests have actual names but some have 'styles'.
You will also need to know about the lock - has it been changed to the new safety lock? You'll have to have this information or you should not sell the chests without informing buyers of this condition. I'm 'hearing' that it is very difficult to find replacement locks so be sure to check this out.
When reviewing listings you'll find this lock situation will be mentioned in every listing.

Here are some Lane cedar chests currently listed for sale on eBay. Keep in mind that asking prices are just a price a seller would like to receive for their item as only a sold item represents what someone is willing to pay.
When reviewing listings check out pictures (some may be good and others all wrong) and also check the area as this is most important.

You will not find your particular chest but maybe similar ones that have sold and you can see what someone was willing to pay but be sure to check area sold.

All of this can only give you some ideas on how to list the chests but if you are not currently an eBay seller then I would recommend you not list on eBay but try other sites that you may be currently using - Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, offerup, letgo, etc.
Here is a Google link to show you how many Lane chests are generally listed for sale - different sites.

You may be able to sell for more money if you can acquire more information about the chests. You can post your pictures on these sites and see if someone can help you.
Always - post only one item at a time or you will not receive the best answers. Two items shown may become confusing and many people just skip the question.
You may have to join these groups but you'll be able to use them in the future for other items.
