I was given this ornament around 30-35 years ago as a Christmas present. I have the original box and it still contains the original water. Do you think it is worth anything?

Very cute..
Older/vintage water globes do not sell very well as people seem to be concerned that water will turn yellow, or the globe will 'spring' a leak.
These are legitimate concerns because this does happen quite frequently. These can be repaired, but it is a delicate process and not too many people will try it, and the now dysfunctional globes are delegated to storage or given to a thrift store.
There does seem to be a good market for newer Easter globes so it may be that buyers feel the new globes may be better made than the older globes.
Even Dept. 56 sellers have low asking prices and very few sales. You can see that some already have 'yellow' water.

Right now is a good time to list Easter items, so if you wish to sell, I would recommend taking several excellent pictures and maybe list on Facebook marketplace and other sites.
You could start with a higher price and consider offers.
Be sure to pack carefully as these are easily broken.
