I've got this set and I don't know much about it. It's has 12 place settings. I am trying to find the age and what it's worth. The stamp on the bottom says - made in occupied Japan.

I believe this to be the Chevonia pattern. Occupied Japan puts it between approximately 1946 to 1952. The value is all over the place depending on where you are located. eBay sold values can give you a general idea. A 10 inch dinner plate sold for approx 18.00 total item plus shipping, a bread plate sold for approx 6.00 total. There are also piece sitting unsold for months. You can price it out on Replacements.com knowing that is retail and you could ask that but will most likely fetch less than 1/4 of retail if you sell it on your own. If it were mine, I would piece it out or find a consignment store to do it for you. Thanks for sharing.
