Your Noritake pattern: Glennis 5804
Made during period: 1957-1962
One factor that is against this item is that it is not microwavable which is more desired right now.
It appears there may be three sizes of platters but I did not find any sold listings in this pattern and you can only provide a 'current value' with sold items as this shows the price someone will pay for the item.
Listings with 'for sale' prices only show what a seller would like to receive for their items.
You can always look online for Noritake Glennis 5804 to see what other sellers are asking for your size platter and try to price yours accordingly.
This is the "Glennis" pattern. Several listings:
Fine china is not in demand as before. Maybe you could get $25 on eBay if you were lucky. Replacements will offer you a lot less than the price they sell it for.
The top leading china dealer, Replacements.com, has this 1950's Noritake Glennis 5804. Although they do not have all of the pieces in stock , you can contact them for what they charge for sale, and they also buy china from the seller as well.
Hi! Pretty pattern!
Is this the 14 inch oval platter? Sadly there has been one sitting unsold on eBay for months now, so the current value is less than 10.00 + the shipping.
You may have a better shot at selling it through a consignment store. Shipping for platters often makes the sale impossible because you have to double box it and the USPS (if you are in the US) dimensional shipping costs are crazy high.
Post back how your sale goes! Thanks for sharing!
I second all opinions regarding probably low sale price
What I would do if I were you is look for persons who might have this complete china set due to their grandma or whatnot but who are for some reason missing this meat platter. This can be accomplished in forums for china collectors.
