I have a token for 1 package oxydol ( medium size) for free or 1 package of oxydol (large size) for .14c. Is this worth anything? Thanks.
This one, which looks like it is for 2 cakes just sold on eBay from Nebraska for 9.60 + shipping. Yours looks like a 1 cake one--so they are not apples to apples matches. I suggest -- since there are some on there now to check those and see if they sell and that will be the current market value.
Cool find!! Thanks for sharing!
Sorry....I forgot the link www.ebay.com/
Super neat find and proof that what one person thinks is small and trash can be a neat little item someone wants and earns you enough for fancy coffee and donut or two MMMM!! I love finds like this!!! They tickle me pink!
Even though it is from 1935, it is not valuable. The asking price for this one is less than $10 on eBay. www.ebay.com/
Oxydol was Procter & Gamble's first laundry detergent and introduced in 1927. Oxydol was a popular product for washday. Many housewives used it to take the drudgery out of washing the laundry. From its start Oxydol paved the way in marketing techniques, from door-to-door sampling to metal "coin" coupons (later to be replaced with paper) to "slice of life" magazine cartoon ads. It was Oxydol that put the soap in "soap opera" when it created the genre through its sponsorship of the radio show "Ma Perkins" in 1933.
Now the price of Rare Oxydol Large Package aluminum token Procter Gamble Vintage is US $6.79 (was US $7.99) www.ebay.com/
