I found this dresser at a Goodwill. It was painted a bright blue, including the back. I see the Dixie insignia inside a drawer and 099 underneath but would it be worth anything since the serial number was painted over on back of dresser? If so, how much would you charge? It's in very good condition. I began to refinish in white. Thanks for any information

You have Triple French Provincial Style dresser made by Dixie Furniture Company (some sellers write French Country or French Regency).
You dresser is from bedroom set from the 1970's www.myantiquefurniturecollection.../
Your dresser had a mirror, maybe a narrow one like this French Dresser With Mirror By Dixie Furniture Company 956 ancientpoint.com/
To determine the price of your painted Dixie dresser, you first need to understand how much such unpainted dresser costs. For example, Dixie French Country Cream/Off White Double Dresser (needs to be refinished) is on ebay for $375-380 www.ebay.com/
on highendusedfurniture the price is $499.99 (total with shipping $789.99) highendusedfurniture.com/
on chairish $720 www.chairish.com/
The price of an unpainted triple Dixie dresser is higher, ranging from $400 to $800.
Some people don't like painted antique/vintage furniture. They look at it from a preservation standpoint and appreciate furniture in its original condition. But some like. On etsy, you can see painted triple Dixie dressers sold for quite a high price, even $1,375 and $1,525 (shipping not included) www.etsy.com/
Dixie is not an expensive piece of furniture to begin with. If you wanted to sell this piece, price it at $100 and lower if it doesnt sell
Thank you for your reply. Thats what I had been reading but Ive seen similar Dixie dressers start at $300 and go up to $1350. And in the area in which I live, so I was confused!
I see that you are repainting your dresser white. I found a similar white Dixie Dresser scoutdesignstudio.com/
Theres a lot of dressers on eBay for say by Dixie but you have to consider the cost of shipping.
If you want to flip it locally you can :)
