I have the set of peppermint twins dolls that I got from my mother, years ago; they are still wrapped up in plastic. I was wondering how much they would be worth?

This one is on eBay with an asking price of $22.99.
There are a number of of them on eBay unsold at $35. You may want to watch a current auction for a few them and see if they sell and for how much. Asking price only tells you what the seller wants. Sold price gives you the current market value.
There are several new and used sets now listed on eBay but as of now none have sold in the past several months.
Cute dolls but the value seems to be very low and no recent sales indicates there is no demand for this set at the present time. Even a set listed for $9.99 with "make an offer" has not sold.
You can check some of the listings and maybe place a "watch" to see if any sell.
