There was one sold on October 18 for $45 with free shipping, which means the seller probably netted about $10 after paying for postage and all the fees.
There are a number of other sets that the seller charged shipping left unsold on the table for as low as $14.95

You may want to see if you can donate them to a trade school or other location and take the tax credit.
I don't recommend selling heavy sets of books on line as it is very heavy hauling them to the PO, then even when the buyer pays shipping, it takes away from profits because you have to lower the asking price.
These are nice books and were very popular during the years they were published but almost anything anyone wants to "tackle" can be found on the Internet (mainly on YouTube) so it really makes books like this almost obsolete.
Thrift stores do not usually want them because they take up room and are very slow sellers even at bargain prices.
I would recommend that you list them on your local Craigslist at a higher price and lower it if no one shows an interest. This way you do not have be bothered with shipping and the buyer does not have to pay for shipping.
Take a look at similar books (many years had almost no changes) that have sold on eBay so you can see what some people are willing to pay.
