They are usually mass-produced dolls that are worth very little.

Thank you everyone for all the help. These were gifts for my daughters and had no idea if they are worth anything. I appreciate all your help!

If you would post pictures, I may be able to give you more info. While most dolls that were produced in the 1980s-today did not hold their value, there are still a few valuable ones out there!
I will check back and see if you can post some photos! Thanks!

This would all depend on if the doll is signed by the doll maker or not. Some dolls are mass produced and in order to sell them off easily, they call them limited edition. This isn't false advertising because they won't produce this doll again. However, when they do produce the doll they can create 2000 or more of them so it makes the value of the doll decline and it is hard to sell them off for a decent price.

I would first do a "google" search, put all the info you have. Also look on eBay to see if there are any dolls the like of yours on there for sale. And try Craigslist.

Sadly, the doll market has been glutted with this type doll which lowers the resale value to almost nothing - many times dolls like this are sold on eBay and other sites for $3-$10 dollars. Part of the reason is because the manufacturer using that wording "Limited Edition".
- Appraisers say the doll market started declining in the 90's and they do not expect it to ever rebound.
- Most of these dolls were/are produced in China and sold to low to medium type stores like K-Mart or Toy Biz (no longer in business) and even Toy R' Us (no longer in business) which in turn sell them for amounts ranging from $29.95 to $49.95.
- Usually these were/are very pretty dolls and people got fooled into thinking these really are limited editions and may be valuable one day.
- Dolls are no longer on most girl's "wanted" list for birthday or Christmas presents (not even Barbie's) (unless maybe an American Girl doll).
- There are not nearly as many adult doll collectors as there were in the past and for all of these reasons, the doll market is at a very low place.
- just as an example there are presently over 61,000 porcelain dolls listed on eBay (US only) but you can ignore the asking prices as they do not show true value (some asking prices are in the "dreams" of the seller).

- Here is the link to dolls that actually sold and what people are actually paying for any of these dolls (sold price is in green).
- Sometimes dolls may sell on local sites like Craigslist for $8-$15 because people can actually see the doll and there is no shipping charge (which can be more than the price of the doll).
- Enjoy your dolls or maybe find a way to give them to some deserving little girl or maybe to a church thrift store.
