This is a 1950s Borge Mogensen teak bookshelf with cabinet. What's the value? Looks so ugly but seems it's made by a famous mid century design.

It seems the bottom cabinet was fairly stable in design (another similar design had legs) and several different types of bookcases were sold that were generally placed on top.
The bottom cabinet was made in several sizes also.
A similar set sold in 2014 (still considered a value) for $215.

This set sold for $1400 (no date given).
This style cabinet/bookcase can be found for sale online and asking prices are usually $1,200-$5,000 but very few sold cases were found.
I did find one very nice set that was listed on eBay for $349 with free shipping and never sold. That listing was listed for sale for over 2 years and never sold.
Since your set has some bad looking damage I feel sure this will affect the value - how much?
Where you are located will also have an affect on the final value as this will probably be a local pick up only and different areas value items like this either high or low as many areas will consider this 'just a bookcase' and may think it should be worth $50.
You might think about doing repairs to your set but I would think you could list it on sites like Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, Letgo, offerup or others you're familiar with; start the price higher - even $1500 with best offer considered and local pick up.
These sets are being sold right now and I did see where one was sold for $1500. People have listed them for much more because Teak wood is quite expensive and it does bring in a good price. I am not sure where you are planning on selling this. Online the price can vary, but if you do sell it locally this normally goes by your region and what people in your region are willing to pay for such an item.
