I have a, The Gathering, collectors plate by Northcoast Publishing. It is the second collectors plate issued of Northcoast Imagery by Ben Richmond. It is plate number 241, 8 1/2 in diameter, dated 1986 and is new in box. Please see photos. Can anyone tell me what it is worth and where I might be able to sell it?

Plates such as this do not hold a large value when resold. I am sure if you hold onto the plate for a longer period of time the plate will be worth more than it is right now. There are some selling online for around 10 to 15 dollars. Maybe in around 10 years the plates will be worth more and people will want to collect them again. A lot of collectables from the 80s are not popular today and there are people who are looking to sell them off.
This one is asking $11.65. www.ebay.com/
So many times we cannot find a collectible on the Internet and tend to think it must be valuable if I cannot find another one like it.
Of course this is not the case but it does appear that it would be.
I hope you like your plate and will keep it or perhaps make it a gift to someone who you think might like it.
You could count the amount you were going to spend on a gift as the "value" of your plate.
