We bought this 5 drawer dresser at an estate sale. It has beautiful scrollwork on the top and has inlays on each drawer. We were wondering how old it is and the approximate value.

Grand Rapids, Michigan ('Furniture City') is one of the most well known places for furniture manufacturing in the United States. In 1902, furniture companies in Grand Rapids began using the name Grand Rapids itself as a trademark. www.furniturecityhistory.org/
Did you find only this metal plate?
This metal emblem was used by members of the Grand Rapids Furniture Makers Guild, beginning in 1931, to certify each individual piece of furniture by number as having been made by a Guild member. www.worthpoint.com/

I think the approximate value of your dresser is $150-200, but it depends on the demand in your area.
Here are suggestions for selling online:
Facebook Marketplace, NextDoor.com, Webstore.com, Varagesale.com, Offerup.com, GoAntiques.com, Poshmark.com, Etsy.com, eBay, Pamono.com, Chairish.com.
Thank yall for all the information. The brass plate is all we found. Were going to keep it. Its so well made and looks nice with the matching nightstand.
Thanks again!
I'm sorry, but I did not find anything close to matching your chest of drawers.
Beautiful scroll work and condition looks very good.
The dividers in the top drawer are unusual and makes me think that it may be a 'gentleman's' chest/dresser.
Also, I have had good luck posting pictures on the free appraisal sites. They provide great information but only if they consider your item is valued at over $500.

Heavy furniture is usually listed for sale with 'local pick up only' as shipping will be very expensive.
Also, final value really depends on the demand in your area.
Thank you so much for the information and suggestions.
