I have a complete set of Universal Standard Encyclopedias copyright 1954, can anyone tell me how much they sell for? I am looking to sell them as I have no use for them.

Unless it is over 100 years old or a first edition, encyclopedias are not worth much anymore.
Any collector looking to buy reference books always look for one that are over 100 years old. Considering yours do not qualify for the age requirement the books today are considered outdated and nobody really wants them at all.
Thanks for sharing.
I have not found a sets of these SOLD for a long time. People ASK in the $50 range, but no one has paid that in ages.
You can try starting them at $30 and see if people will nibble. You can then reduce the price every week until you get a bite.
Shipping is going to cost at least that if not more, so DO NOT offer free shipping or if you do, you will need to figure out exactly how much that will cost (I do US east cost to west coast media mail) and add that into the starting value.
USPS has a special lower mailing rate for books only.
Its slower but it gets there.
My first incomplete set (17 volumes out of 25) cost me $10 , but I had to pay $45 to get a full set.
If you have a full set, will you send me pictures of pages 5201 and 5202 , I think you can find them in volume 14?
