My girlfriend and I found this handsome piece at a thrift store here in North Florida. It's a lovely vintage chest of drawers by Bassett Industries. We had been needing a place to store our clothes for so long, and we were immediately stricken with adoration at first sight of this lovely behemoth.
All I wanna know, is how old really? In what decade would this have been manufactured? And I just can not the life of me find a similar piece anywhere online, so of course I need to know: HOW MUCH IT WORTH? Thank you all so kindly in advance.

I find it interesting that you used the word 'behemoth' to describe your chest of drawers.
Since the definition of behemoth - 'something of monstrous size, power, or appearance' seems to be appropriate; some people might also use the term 'goth/gothic' instead.
There are areas where this style of furniture is popular but other areas may have to sell for a few dollars or donate it to a local thrift store.
As to value - whatever you paid would be considered the value in your area but it may bring more money if placed on sites like Facebook Marketplace.
You may never actually find your exact chest but there are similar pieces listed for sale but it seems that similar sold items are not current but from 2019-2021.
For sale prices are all over the place - very low to very high but only a sold item shows what someone was willing to pay for this item.
Age? - probably in the late 60s - 70s. This style seems to be called different names: Mediterranean, MCM,

Wow, ok. I thank you very much for the information.
It appears to be 1970s Mediterranean style. You will most likely be selling this to someone looking for a project...if you decide to sell... & ask $150.
