From your pictures it appears your copy has a number of issues and water damage is always bad news with books.
This is not a rare edition and there are several copies presently listed for sale on eBay. Asking prices differ and most appear to be in better condition than yours but asking prices do not represent value as only a sold item price shows what someone was willing to pay for that item.
It appears there have been a few copies sold on eBay over the past several months and sold prices range from #6.75 free shipping to $19.55 + shipping. Just at a glance all of these sold copies appear to be in very good condition..
One of the biggest problems with saying value is that books are very slow sellers and we have no way to know how long these books have been posted for sale - months/years??

Considering the condition of your book, I would venture to say the value would be lower than $10 and may never sell.
Check out eBay's listings to see what is presently being offered for sale.

The first edition of Webster's New World Dictionary of the American Language was published in 1951 by the World Publishing Company of Cleveland, Ohio, in two volumes or one large volume, including a large encyclopedic section. In 1953, World published a one-volume college edition (Webster's New World College Dictionary), without the encyclopedic material. It was edited by Joseph H. Friend and David B. Guralnik and contained 142,000 entries, said to be the largest American desk dictionary available at the time.
The price of 1957 Webster's New World Dictionary of the American Language College Edition varies depending on condition (Shipping not specified, from United States) from $4.88 to $19.99
