The White Sewing Machine Company was founded in 1858. This company began making sewing machines during the height of the Industrial Revolution. White sewing machines were manufactured and sold in the United States from 1858 until late in the 20th century. In the 1920s, the company landed a deal with Sears Roebuck & Co and became their sole supplier of sewing machines for several decades. The White Family Rotary Sewing Machine remained in production into the 1950s (though later models were powered by electricity, not a foot peddle!). In the 1960s, White merged with a company called Husqvarna Viking. You can still find Husqvarna Viking machines for sale today. Sometimes White products were sold under their subsidiary names of Kenmore and Franklin. White no longer makes sewing machines under the company's name.
You have a 1950 White Rotary Series 77 in cabinet.
Look around your sewing machine and find the serial number (etched usually on their bottom, back, or side or engraved on the motor or the casing of the motor). Using the serial number, you can determine the period of manufacture

"With the Great Depression came renewed interest in home sewing. White continued to innovate, introducing the first sewing machine outside of its traditional black models, which was made of a magnesium alloy and was also much lighter than its forebears." www.fiddlebase.com/
Most White models were not considered top-line to begin with.

Portable sewing machines usually sell faster than a machine in a cabinet due to the fact that a portable machine can be shipped and more potential buyers will have room for a portable but not a cabinet.
I would suggest you list it for sale on sites like Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, USA4Sale with a higher starting price and see if anyone makes an offer. Drop the price if necessary.
