I don't have any info on this other than it belonged to my mother-in-law that has recently passed. We are trying to sell it but I don't know its worth.

This is the early 19th century French "Armoire de Mariage" (Marriage Wardrobe) traditionally given in Normandy to a newly-wed couple as a wedding present. It is decorated with carved bouquets and garlands of Spring flowers, an allegory for fertility.

Look for a manufacturer mark on the back, underneath or inside. That will help greatly in identifying it and determining its worth.

Some info regarding antique armoires:
There is no way to compare similar items as everything about each item will be different and although one item may look 'similar' these cannot be compared.
Also, where this item is located may make a big difference in the final value as most will be 'local pick up only' and your area may be good or bad for this type of furniture.
It is difficult for individuals to ship large, heavy items, while stores can arrange shipping with no problem.
This may indeed be a valuable Armoire so you should have it checked out by a reliable appraiser.
Pictures are absolutely necessary.
You may have to take your Armoire to a large auction if you wish to sell it for the most money and sell it in a few days instead of waiting weeks/months/years to sell it online.
You can take pictures and post it to several of these sites to see what information they can provide.
