Collectors and buyers are not interested in encyclopedias that are less than 100+ years old. Furthermore, you can no longer donate these books to the Salvation Army, schools or even libraries. They receive too many of these old books and end up sending them off to a paper recycling center. All the information in these books is online and update all the time. Therefore, the only way to get rid of the books is to try and sell them on Craig's list. You might be able to ask $25 for the set.
