I have a 1910 - 11 edition of the Encyclopedia Britannica. How much is it worth?

This one on Amazon is asking $400. www.amazon.com/
Between $300 & $400. Auction houses can probably get you more for the right buyer with a wall to wall library collection!
Hello. Do you have pictures? If you don't want to post photos, I am attaching a link for eBay sold auctions and if yours matches those sold (or unsold) you can get an idea for today's market value as I can't give you good info without knowing exactly what your set looks like:
www.ebay.com/
If one of them matches yours and SOLD, that is today's market value.
If one of them matches UNSOLD, then you will know that people will not pay that price. You can see if they relisted and if it sells at that or lower price.
These are often very slow sellers (although there are a lot of artists who love them for the photos and harvest those that are out of copyright (which if yours is a true 1910 would be) and they use the images in their Junk Journals and collages.
Usually artists do not like to pay a lot, but they do buy!
Post back with an update on what you learn! Thanks and happy weekend!
I believe the way to describe the currant value of Encyclopedias is to say they are 'finicky' sellers.
The 1910-1911 edition (11th Edition) is still popular but they may or may not be a fast seller. Usually sets are very slow to sell but that being said, there is no way to tell when the 'one' person will see the listing and decide to buy.
There were several different bindings and many times the type of binding will be the deciding point.
Since we do not know what type of binding or even the condition, there is no way anyone can even give you a 'guesstimate' of current value.
Here is a link to sets that have sold over the past several months so you check them out and see if any are similar to your set.

You can check the current listings on eBay and if you find a set like yours or even close then you can place a watch on the listing to see if it sells.
I will tell you that sellers on all sites (especially Amazon) usually list their books and just forget about them so these listings could have been listed for months to years and may or may not sell.

Shipping is sometimes a nightmare as these are heavy and usually have to be shipping in 2 or more boxes.
You can always list on local sites like Craigslist, OfferUp, LetGo or Facebook Groups/Marketplace and set your own price and reduce it if no one buys. List the set as pick up only and no shipping.
You are in luck the book is over 100 years old and sought out by collectors. I know you can sell the book online on eBay but I would suggest to take the book to a book reseller and get it appraised first. The condition of the book will determine the real value of this book.
