Can anyone tell me anything about the history of this mantle clock please? All I know is it is called an Ansonia mantle clock. It has recently been professionally refurbished and I just wanted to know a little about it and of course any valuation. It is in perfect working order.

Ansonia clocks - really hold there value! Although I did not see one like yours, eBay has many of this brand starting at $200 - $1000's. Very sought after brand. Another site - Chairish.com has Ansonia clocks starting at $300. If you has a vintage dealer in the area, maybe they can give you a local value/appraisal!
After looking at almost 1000 pages of Ansonia clocks through a dealer, there was not one listed with that same cabinet. Did the refurbishing also include transferring the mechanisms into a different cabinet, that you know of?
