How much is this limited edition Cathay doll worth? It's name is Sierra and it is number 124-5000. It has all the clothes and the Certificate of Authenticity with it.

This is a mass-produced doll. There are 5000 in this lot alone. It is worth $25 or less.
She is very sweet, but sadly most of the Cathay dolls did not hold their value. Now if you come across some of their very tall dolls or a few of the Native American dolls, they are still sought after by collectors although I haven't seen one fetch more than $50.
There are several of the brand's sailor dolls out there. The name Sierra is typical and company's like these reused names over and over in different dresses. T
If you go to eBay, there is a sailor girl out there, but her hat is slightly different and there is not a name give. It has been unsold for a while and the price keeps dropping and it remains unsold. They are asking in the $40s now, and I am guessing at that high price she will continue to be left on the unsold table.
That all said, to find your doll's exact value, you would need to find an exact match for her (one of her series not a "similar") and look for its sold price. They come up often, so you should not have to wait to long to find one listed. You may have to wait a while to see it sell.
Generally, because of the glut of Cathay dolls out there, I have seen them sitting on the UNSOLD side of eBay for as low as $3.
That is quite sad to see because these were frequently bought as investment with the hope that the buyer would double or triple their money. Unfortunately that did not happen because the doll companies got greedy and made too many.
My suggestion would be to find a child to love the doll and give her a good home!! That value, as the commercial says, would be priceless to that child!
