I have a sterling thimble with a beetle w/bird wings and the inside has the initials MKI (the letter style is like vine, there is a C over the top left leg of the K, and the & sign below and between the two lower legs of the K. Inside, it also says Queen Teie/Sterling Silver PAT. PNG

On an average for a sterling silver thimble they are going for $19 to $29 asking price online. Now the key is to find one that has been sold. Asking price is what people want but the real value of your item is when one is sold.
Thimbles are still collectible and some have retained their value even during this crisis. However, you will find over 800 sterling silver thimbles listed for sale on just eBay.
You may have to go to a collector's club or forum to find out the maker of your thimble unless another member - Pghgirl - comes along with information.
