Value of a Collector's Choice Porcelain Doll?

Value of a Collector's Choice Porcelain Doll - blond doll with very long ringlets, wearing a brown and cream dress and holding perhaps a twig broomMy grandmother has a porcelain doll that I can't find online anywhere. It has never been opened and is in excellent condition. She is wondering how much it is worth. It is a Collector's Choice genuine fine porcelain doll. It was hand crafted by Lee Capozzi.

These are mass-produced dolls that decrease in value over the years. You will get $25 or less if you sell.

Thank you so much for the information. We wasnt expecting it to be a high dollar amount. Just need it gone and didn't know what we should price it at.

While I was not able to find your lovely as a sold doll, there are very similar ones sitting unsold between $10 and $50 on just about every sale site I frequent.

She does look like a tall gal...you may want to sell her in a local venue (since shipping her will cost more than the doll itself).

I would start at $20 and take best offer. Just be forewarned that the doll market is the softest it has ever been. There are over a million dolls for sale any given day because everyone is downsizing (thanks Marie Kondo) and sadly dolls are no longer "sparking joy" in people. This has caused the value for doll to drop to almost nothing, which does not sit well with people who paid hundreds for them in the 1990s with the impression that they would be able to retire on the doll's value in the future.

Post back how your sale goes.

These types of dolls are mass-produced and do not have a high resale value. Most people end up giving them away in the end because they are hard to sell.

I have seen people post them on eBay for as low as $5 and as high as $25.
