I have seen them advertised in the $150 range, but not sold. Most people are not in the market for Encyclopaedias anymore

They took best offer which was 175.00 plus shipping.
Then there was another identical set that sold for (and I am not joking). 1 cent--local pick up. I can't imagine how that worked as seller LOST money on that one with fees.
There are a lot of them advertised on eBay but people are not selling them. Recently I noticed on the app store that you can dowload and install apps on your mobile phone that allow you to sell items locally in your area. These are garage sale apps and I saw 10 different ones that looked interesting. You can try to use one of these apps and list the books there. You may get a higher price because you do not have to worry about boxing them up and shipping them off.
