I came across this Conant Ball pedestal desk and was wondering if it has value? I saw on line references to Russell Wright. How do I verify if it is indeed a Russell Wright? Any info would be appreciated.

My understanding from everything I have seen is that his pieces are marked "American Modern Built by Conant Ball Co." or "Designed by Russel Wright."
Conant pieces themselves have value in their own right.
Someone is asking (NOT A SOLD PRICE YET) but asking $449 for this exact desk--they are claiming it is by Wright, but they don't show the marking. There is one on Chairish (always OUTRAGEOUS asking prices) for over $1,000. That site is insane and I don't trust their sellers or values--but that is just me.
Here is the eBay one:

I would be curious if they would show you the marking if you asked so you could compare it to theirs.
Oftentimes sellers are flippers and they "think" they know what they have because attaching the Wright name adds cache to the post--but they are not always right.
This blog has a lot of info and it suggests what I belive that it it is NOT a Wright piece...but again, I would be curious to hear what an expert says in person:
You can always (when the world reopens) ask a reputable vintage reseller in your town to look at it in person and verify what you have.
Conant Ball highly collectable - has a few desk offered on this site. Here is one that looks like yours, and many others on this site.-www.chairish.com/
The marking on the back of your desk is not the correct marking to be made by Russell Wright. Here is the marking that the desk should have if it was made by him.
This desk is not designed by Russel Wright! It is the work of Leslie Diamond, though often misattributed to Wright. Here's a helpful link: snag-blog.com/
