I found a Geppeddo Hannah doll at a flea market. There was paperwork and a photo still in her box that revealed she used to belong to my grandmother. I'd like to know what year she was made, so I'll have a better idea of when my grandmother bought her.

They are in the $30 range on eBay.
The Geppeddo dolls are newer dolls...1980s. I can't remember the exact year this series started. I don't think they went into the 1990s.
There are a few varieties of the "Hannah", if I remember right. One with a flower, one with a bear, and maybe one with an ice cream cone or a butterfly or maybe both, I can't remember exactly.
They are very cute and very sweet dolls and it is so neat that you found one that was owned by your grandmother.
If you are trying to sell her, she is in the low range of dolls when it comes to re-sale. They sell between 99 cents and $15 dollars depending on condition. The most you may get for it (if it is pristine, in the box, with all of the original packaging), is $20-25, but that would be in place where they are in very high demand and very low quantify.
I think it is so cool that you found this! It was meant to be!
Ohhh, I'm not going to sell her! I would just like to know the year she was made. She still has all her tags, COA, and original box, but nothing gives a date. If I knew when she was made, I'd a better idea of when/why my grandmother (or other relative) sold her.
I always thought this was one of the cutest faces I had ever seen.
It is difficult to pinpoint a date of manufacture as it is never written on any of their paperwork of boxes.
You would just about have to find someone that remembers buying one and maybe approximate date - not an easy task.
If you have not found the information you were looking for and happen to see this post again, I may be able to help you date this doll.

I used to work for the Geppeddo company which was based in Salt Lake City and sold porcelain and vinyl dolls seasonally in mall kiosks. This doll was made and sold in the early 2000's. This company was absolved by Dept 56 buyout and ended pretty quickly.
