We are hoping someone can help us identify some old Homer Laughlin pottery that was my great grandparent's. It is a 9 piece bathing set I am told. I have looked online trying to search the backstamps, but none that I have come across only have the Homer Laughlin stamp with no other markings.
We are hoping that someone might be able to tell us the year or years it was manufactured. The set is in extremely good shape and we would like to try to find its value and pattern if possible.
Thank you in advance for any information you can provide.

Homer Laughlin is typically not expensive china. Send the pictures to replacements.com. They will identify the pattern and tell you its age and value.
Thank you for your suggestion. I did send the information to replacements and their reply was that they could not identify the pattern for this manufacturer. After reviewing the backstamp myself from sites it appears to be early 1900's.
Based on the logo and how it swirls under the R in Homer, I think you have an early teens piece (1911-1914):

Although I thought there were always more notes on the back (see the images from this link to logos).
These are commonly called "toilet" sets or "vanity" sets.
They sell all over the place depending on where you are located and the condition.
Best to take it to a good antique shop and let them sell it for you since this is a very fragile set.
As for the name, I am not remembering it...I have seen it, what I think, incorrectly called Mingo, but my memory has Mingo being blue flowers, not green. It is possible they made a green one also.
There is a really good HL Facebook group that I adore. It is called:
all things homer laughlin china
You can ask to join and see if someone can ID the correct name for it. You are not permitted to sell on the site and they discourage asking for value (which is going to differ in different parts of the US anyway, which is why it is best to take it to a reputable dealer in your town to sell so you price it for your market).
Please post back what you learn!
Thanks to you as well with this information. I contacted Homer Laughlin through their Fiestaware site and they were very helpful. I am told that is a "Mingo" Toiletry set probably produced around 1912 and they found an old photo of it in the Green color.
I will take your advice to have a local antique dealer look at it and yes, it does look to be fragile. Makes me nervous. The set is in great condition with no chips or discoloration so I will be careful.
Thanks again for your knowledge.
Thanks for posting back!! I am happy to know that where I saw the Mingo posted for green that it was correct!! I have only seen it in blue!! Something to save for my research!! Love HL pieces!!
I hope a shop can sell it for you! It is lovely!! Thanks so much for the update! Let me know how it goes!
I agree with you the stamp on your set is not the same as the ones you find online. In order to see the true value of the set it is best to take a piece of the set and some photos to an antiuqe shop in your area. They are the experts on this type of china and should be able to help you out better than others can on here. Good luck and let us know what you have found out.
