These dishes are inexpensive. Asking prices on eBay are $20 and less.
This is a 1957 pattern. Not sure the name.
You an send it to Replacements.com and they can give you the exact name and tell you how much they would buy it for from you (if they are buying it).
If you check eBay you may luck into the name. You have to search things in a variety of ways like Laughlin green trim or Laughlin floral. Often the numbers are useless in eBay land as most sellers have not a clue what they are for and leave them out of ads.
You also have to be wary because some patterns were made for a number of years with slight variations so you may see a 1930s 40s and 50s version of yours each with a tweak and buyers are very fussy which one they want so sometimes one may be worth more than the other.
HL dishes have been around since the late 1800s. They reached their "hey day" in the 1940s and 1950s. Almost every bride of those years had some HL dishes in their home, often given as wedding or anniversary presents.
Since I can't find a sold one of your exact pattern, I can't guesstimate the value today (but it will be low).
I can tell you that sadly, youth of today (anyone under 50) wants nothing to do with dishes and china and values of them have dropped significantly over the years.
Maybe if you hold on to it, the value will rebound.
You may be lucky and find a few "old timers" who want to replace a broke piece which is why my original suggestion is selling to replacements.com may be the most efficient way to go as long as the cost of postage does not outweigh what they will give you for the piece*. This is if they will take it--they have been hard hit by the supply and demand thing and too much supply and too little demand and they stop taking pieces.
*If you are in the US, the USPS has made selling things that have to be shipped quite the challenge and often shipping an item costs more than the value...it is quite frustrating. You have to be aware of that factor also, so a local sale may be your best bet--either through consignment store or antique store or yard sale or flea market.
Post back how things go for you!
Thank you for the information. Bowl from paternal family home. Love it and use it.
Pretty bowl but Homer Laughlin mass produced almost every pattern and now so many are available that very few pieces are valued at more than $10-$25.
I believe your pattern may be a little more unusual than many but this alone may not raise the value but may effect a quicker sale.
Numbers do not mean very much but if you wish to contact Replacements they may be able to help you with a pattern name and year produced.
