I inherited this cedar chest from my parents and am tracking down the history. Do you know what the value would be for this? There is very minimal moisture damage inside the chest, but apart from that looks like it's in great shape. It has a very strong cedar aroma.
This is the only thing I could find online:

These are nice chests but from research of past sales they do not appear to be very high value.
The information you quoted from the sale on Etsy is from 2014 so even if you know the sale price it would not be current enough to give you a true value.
I did find sales of several chests like or very similar to yours but the most recent one was in 2018. This does not really mean the chest is rare it just could be that any like this are being sold at auctions all over the country.
I have provided links to several past auctions and the most expensive sale was for $150 and the others sales are less than $100.

If you wish to sell your chest you may have better luck if you list it on some local venues like Craigslist, OfferUp, LetGo, Nextdoor, USA 4 Sale, Facebook Marketplace and list it as 'pick up only' so no one has to pay for expensive shipping.
You can list on several sites and start your price high and lower it if no one seems interested.
Here is some history about the company and when it was founded back in 1875. en.wikipedia.org/
