I have a set of the New Encyclopedia Britannica, with 15 volumes. It is leather bound. What is the value of the set?

Can you tell me what edition it is because each edition set is a different price
I think you should do a search on Google, put in all the info. you have , especially if you know the age of the set, and the condition . Also go on eBay and see if there is a set similar to yours listed for sale, usually there is not a great demand for used Encyclopedia's .
It is not worth much unless it is complete and over 100 years old. If not, donate it and take the tax deduction
If you can post the year (should be on the first few pages) and a photo of the cover, I may be able to get you more info.
If you can't post a photo, I always suggest going to ebay, calling up the SOLD auctions and finding an exact match for yours. That will give you today's current market value.
Only ever use sold...active auctions only tell you what a seller wants to get for them. SOLD tells you what someone paid!
Keep me posted! I hope I can help!
All information is based on the year/edition first and then type of binding and condition.
If you supply that information then someone may be able to supply suggestions on finding the value. Pictures really help pinpoint the set.
