I have a Mersman 6651 mahogany harp table. This has a few blemishes, but is otherwise in good condition. Could you tell me the value?
Thank you!!

This one is asking $95 on eBay. www.ebay.com/
I love this piece!! This is the type of "brown" furniture that is still in very high demand. I have seen them SOLD (not asking prices, but actual SOLD prices) from $100 to $500 depending on what part of the country you are located.
Big cities and trendy places like Seattle, LA, San Fran, NY and even Pittsburgh, they trend high. Places like small towns in Alabama or Ohio or Nebraska, they trend low.
Talk to a vintage/antique dealer in your town and ask how much you would pay if you wanted to buy one and that will give you an idea of what they are going for in your town (or ask to help you set insurance value).
You are best to sell this at an in person site like a shop or if you don't mind people traipsing in and out of your house, you can do Facebook Marketplace or Letgo.
I would not want to risk shipping this piece--too heavy and awkward.
It is a lovely piece and was built to be enjoyed by many generations!!
If you put the title Mersman 6651 into Google and click images you can look at the difference in values in different parts of the country.
Blessings and thanks for sharing!
Considering the total number of #6651 presently listed on eBay I would say the value will be much lower right now. Check the link and you will see tables listed from many cities and all over the place asking prices.
Asking prices are what a seller would love to get for their items but only sold items show true value. Even then it is not reliable as one location can be entirely different from another (even in the same city).

You can check eBay sold listings to see what someone is willing to pay and what city they are located in.

Here is another auction from a couple of years back and even this price may not be very reliable.
Most likely, people like yourself has vintage pieces they would like to sell and checking eBay found this was a popular item and decided that now is the time to sell.
I would consider listing something like this on local sites with pick up only.
Craigslist, OfferUp, LetGo, Nextdoor, USA4Sale are good places to list an item like this.
Always start your price high and lower it if no one shows interest.
Most of these sites are free and eBay or Etsy charge fees
