I had purchased this at a yard sale for $5 and noticied the Mersman mark with 8068 on it.

You got a good deal. This is worth about $35.
If you are in OR, someone just paid $45 for the exact table on Offer Up:
Where I am these fetch more--can get upwards of $75 in stores (not through local sales like Facebook--they go back down into the $45-$50 range that way). Mid Century Modern is hot, but running out of steam. If you are thinking about flipping it, now is the time.
This is not true for all parts of the country...but many. Hopefully where you are!!
