I have a Mersmen 220 88 desk and stool 148 77. The numbers are on the bottom of the desk and chair. I am wanting to sell them, but have no idea what they are worth.
Thank you.

In the condition it is in, I would ask $90, and see what kind of response results.
Hi,
I would look at similar products on ebay. Here is a link:

This might give you an idea of what others are asking for their items.
Have a blessed day!

This is an interesting piece and I have never seen one like it! I am thinking this is one of the rarer Merman pieces and may have more value than you realize.
Before trying to sell on your own at a low price, I strongly suggest talking to a reputable antique/vintage (because I don't think the piece is a true antique over 100 years old).
If the two pieces were sold together, which I am still not sure about from my research, it may be a vanity and not a desk. The demilune style of it is what fascinates me. Kind of a reverse demilune. Half moon style--that is not usually thought of as a desk. It could be, but that would surprise me.
Anyhow....don't undersell this piece until you know a true value from someone who can actually see it (it is so hard to do this via photos and messaging--to get a true value for the rare items you need to see them and touch them).
I may be going way out on a limb and could be wrong, but I think you have a valuable piece here. Yes, condition is everything, but to a true Mersman collector these unusual pieces can fetch decent money.
Please post back what you learn from a pro who can see, feel and touch the piece and give you a true value in today's market.
Can't wait to hear what you learn!
