I have this rectangular Mersman table with a single drawer and I know zero about it. Any information about this style of table, value and/or model would be great and thank you!

Hi. I had to search for a long time to find anything like this since Mersman made so few pieces with "decorative frieze" fronts like this one.
I know they did some pieces with friezes on them in the 30s and 40s but they were much more ornate and period appropriate, the frieze on yours is more Mid Century Modern (but a tad over the top for that style).
The legs are more 1960s, possibly 1970s.
I found this piece (see link) with a similar face but totally different legs that was attributed to the 1960s, which is in line with what I am figuring:

I don't see a year on this link. They quote resale value at $75-100, which for pecan would probably still be about right for today in the right market (furniture sales are regional and what fetches big bucks in one place, fetches pennies on the dollar in others).
Since this piece is unusual and one of Mersman's non traditional faces, you may be best served to take it to a reputable vintage furniture dealer in your town to have a look at it and very if it is indeed part of this 1960s line, confirm that it is pecan, and see what your market would bear for it!
I hope you are in a low supply, high demand area and can command top dollar for it!
It is a neat piece! Thanks for sharing! Please post back what you learn from a pro!!!
Thank you so much for all that information that's fantastic. I was given the table as a gift this year and I really like it so regardless of value in sure I will hang onto it and continue to enjoy it.
Enjoy!!
I have 2 identical tables. They were purchased by my parents in 1966, new. I also have the matching coffee table and octagonal table. Curious if there's more value with the set?
This table was manufactured in the early to middle 1900s. It is worth in the $50 range
There are many people who have these types of tables and most of them were build around the 1950s or so. I know that my grandmother had some in her home.
