Value of a Mersman Table?

Mersman furniture company made hundreds of different style tables and there does not seem to be a list available to identify their furniture by numbers.

• Someone may find a table with your number 3-39 but most values are based on what has recently sold on eBay and I did not find any tables for sale or sold with those numbers.
• Without a picture or description of your table, all I can do is refer you to listings on eBay (asking prices mean very little as these are just prices that sellers set and may have no relation to what a table would sell for): Presently listed on eBay and you may find your table in these listings:

• If you look across the top you will see different Mersman style tables and clicking on any of those links will show a large number of styles so maybe yours will be in one of those groups.
• If you would like to add a picture to your posting, it is possible someone will be able to sort out an estimated value.
• Most important to value is the condition of the table and whether it has been refurbished in any way.
• As far as the age of your table, there are no charts presently showing when each piece was made and most furniture is shown as mid-century as that was the time of their highest production.

The link above has some history of the company. This brand was a staple of many, many middle class family homes from the 1920s thru the 1990s.

Without a photo it's hard to find an apples to apples match to help you determine a value. I recommend looking at ebay completed auctions and matching the look and condition.

Only look at sold items of the matches to get an idea of what people are actually paying for the piece. If you find a current auction, watch it to see if and when it sells and for how much.

Selling the pieces are a challenge online because of shipping. Flea markets and tag sales are the easiest way to sell or find a consignment store to do the selling for you.

Most Mersman tables are in the $40-75 range, unless they are large or unusual.
