I love this style of Mersman and where I am they have held their value more than some of the Mersman pieces.

This seller is a bit ambitious in today's market, but he/she may get this price for it on eBay (asking 199.00 local pick up):

If this is an EXACT match to your table, I would watch this auction to see if it sells and for how much. That will give you today's market value.

Please do not use the asking price as the value...as value today is only what people will pay....not what people ask.

There are no sold pieces on at the moment to gauge actual value.

If this one sells for best offer, you can't tell the exact value--because it could be from 1 penny to 1 penny under asking price, but you can guestimate....and know not to ask the full price....maybe taking up to 20% off of it.

If you were selling one today, unless I knew for sure I was in a high demand, low supply area, I would start in the $150-$175 range and take best offer.

Please note...this pricing is based on it being this EXACT table...if yours is not exactly like this...you will need to find an exact match online and watch it (or look for sold prices).

Apples to apples is the only way to determine value in the market.

It is always best if a picture is included as this description could fit a lot of Mersman table models.

• I believe this style table (2 and 3 tier) are called "dumbwaiter" tables and most are round but many call this style octagon also.
• I noticed the link that PghGirl shows has the price reduced to $124.99 and it has not sold. The listing may be a Mersman table but in the description they state it is not marked but they believe it is Mersman. Still a good example of how eBay works.

• It would be best to find a table like yours but you can look at some maybe "similar" table to see what people are listing for sale. These listings cannot be used for value but they can give you some ideas on how to describe your table.
• Check out some of these links and put a watch on any that look like your table.

• There may be a table like yours listed but you will have to review the pictures/listings to find it.

• I did not see any 2 tier tables in the sold listings but you should check this when looking for value.
• Most of eBay listings for this type furniture will be for "pick up only" which just means they will not ship and the auction is really for the people in that seller's area.
