I found this in my wife's grandmother's house. It has no numbers, but does have a sticker on the bottom. I am planning on restoring it, but would like more info.
Thanks in advance.

Before restoring this lovely piece, I would take it to an antique dealer.
The Mersman Tables label places this piece from the late 1800s until around 1906 if my memory is serving me right.
This piece could be more valuable than you think. I have never seen one quite like this, so I am not positive of the value, but I know that some of the very old Mersman's can sell in the high $500-$700 range in the right venue.
A good antique dealer will tell you if it is worth it to refinish (meaning it would increase the value even more) or if it would totally devalue it.
That all said, if you do not care about the value, have fun, and make the piece your own!! People get all fussed up about value, but furniture was meant to be loved and used.
Post back what you learn/what you decide!
Thanks for the information. I will find an antique dealer to see what they say. Thanks for your help.
