Hi, I have this Mersman table (997). It's a beautiful table but does have some damage on the top. I am just curious if anybody has any idea what this would sell for. I am not sure if it should be restored or just sold. Thank you for any help.

You could get $175 to $225 if it were restored. I would do it if I were you.
I'm not sure but it appears this table has very serious damage.
What is happening with the bottom 'shelf'?
The first picture shows what looks like the original 'bottom' that is perhaps 'tied' together?
Have you thought about what price you would (or did) pay for this table - as is? Mersman is not a magic name/brand that makes a beat-up table sell for a lot of money.
Also, larger pieces of furniture are very difficult and expensive to ship and sellers usually list these as 'local pick up only'. Do you have some ideas as to what someone might pay for this table and come to your house to pick up? usually an area is defined as 30-50 miles radius. You might try looking on sites like Craigslist, USA4Sale, OfferUp to see if you can find any furniture in similar condition listed for sale as this could give you some idea about the value of yours.
I may be wrong but from what I've seen around my area, this table, in this condition, would be very difficult to sell for more than $15 and that would have to be by someone wanting to do a lot of work to restore this table.
Refurbishing to original state is a very difficult job and if parts are missing it would be almost impossible. If this is in your line of work or you have experience in doing this then you may have a beautiful table when redone. But - if an inexperienced craftsman tries this then I'm not sure of the value.
Some people are redoing older furniture in different colors and many times these do sell for several hundred dollars but I do not believe this table would do well in other than the original finish.
This looks like an unusual table and would probably look beautiful restored but as is, I believe it would be very low priced.
